Rampart Site Works is a site work contractor based in Knoxville, Tennessee. We prepare ground for what gets built on it: manufactured home sites, residential lots, driveways, drainage, and pads.
Manufactured home site work is our specialty. It's precise, it's schedule-driven, and it's where we've built our reputation.
A home is only as good as what sits under it. Our job is to hand the next crew a site that's level, squared, compacted, and ready — on the day the schedule says it will be.
Who Runs it.
Rampart Site Works is owned and operated by Daniel Gooch.
Daniel started Rampart to help fix industry challenges he'd spent over four years watching from the other side of the transaction. While working at Clayton Homes, he had a long look at the industry's economics and where the opportunities sat. A few things surfaced consistently. Site work is where schedules break, and where quality, customer experience, and margin can quietly disappear. A delivery that can't be completed costs the retailer a crew day, a hauler, and a customer's patience. A home set on a pad that wasn't drained right becomes somebody's inspection or warranty problem for years. And a site prep contractor who goes quiet about a delay leaves the delivery and set crews to find out on arrival.
The field experience comes from the crew. Our site prep team brings more than eight years of hands-on manufactured home experience, trained by three of the region's established site contractors with over 70 years of experience.
